The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) was established in 1828 and is one of Europe's oldest media institutions, with a renowned hospitality management program, consistently ranked among the top 800 universities worldwide. It is one of the eight UK universities with the highest teaching funding, even surpassing the University of Birmingham. The university has around 38,000 students, including over 3,000 international students from more than 150 countries and regions, including Europe, the USA, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Africa.
